TeddyBMW Ex Member	Re: $0 income Reply #1 - 11/01/07 at 15:10:39 Yes, my wife is a homemaker also and she was approved for the same amount of life insurance that I was. They did ask her how much insurance I had, so just be sure to put on your application that your spouse has insurance also.

When I applied for my term policy, they asked me for my household income which I guess is something the insurance company has to look at to figure out how much insurance one can qualify for.

As Norcalgal said it is one of the hardest jobs! Would the employed spouse be able to quit their job to stay home with the kids? If not, then the cost of child care not to mention other expenses would need to be covered.
