Anxiety Medications?
11/06/07 at 13:25:33

My doctor recently prescribed me some medication for anxiety. I am on the lowest possible dose and I feel ok. I am pretty healthy but I noticed on the application I was asked to list any medications that I am taking. Will I be charged a higher premium because of this?

Yikes, I hope not because I am on anxiety meds also. Work is stressful, who isn't anxious these days?

Sorry ladies, I was charged a higher premium. I don't know if there is a company that does not.  undecided

I think that as long as the anxiety is not severe you will not be charged a very high premium. I gave my agent all the details regarding my anxiety history and she checked with different companies prior to applying, so I can get a better idea of what my premium would be. It came out to be just what AIG quoted me too. That is the company that I purchased a policy with.
