I have diareah and my insurance company declined me! I can't believe it, it is just diareah! They want me to wait 6 months to reapply. What the heck do they care if I have diareah!!! Doesn't make sense...

Maybe you have something more severe than just diarrhea. If you have other symptoms like cramping, constipation, abdominal pain and bloating, it might be in your best interest to see a physician to make sure that you don't have irritable bowel syndrome. If  you do have IBS, you need to also consult a Nutritionist to change your diet. IBS can be controlled through healthy eating. My little cousin has it and it can be really upsetting to deal with on a daily basis. You might be able to get insurance through QuickQuote. They can shop this for you, but it might be helpful for you to find out if you do actually have a medical problem or just an upset tummy. The more health information you can give the agent, the better they can rate you and give you a more accurate quote. Best of luck to you!

The insurance company most likely want to make sure that your diarrhea goes away. If not, this could be a serious medical problem so it isn't really surprising that they don't want to give you insurance until it resolves.

Your diet is probably the cause. Do not eat chemical sugars and do not eat dairy. Do not eat too much sugar. You should eat applesauce and bread/rice/beans and bananas until you get better. Try some ginger root also.

It could also be the stress of trying to find life insurance that causes the diarrhea!

I had my application postponed too. It was because I had not followed up with my doctor  to have an echocardiogram which he had recommended at my last appointment. I finally followed up and sent in the results. Once the insurance company reopened my case, I was approved and not only do I have the piece of mind of having life insurance coverage but I have no worries about my health since I followed up with my doctor! I think you should just go to your doctor about your diarrhea. If there is no problem just wait the 6 months and re apply. If it is a problem, better you find out now.
