Hi I have a sweet little dog and she got cancer about a year ago. I have spent thousands on vet bills for her, but I would do anything for her really. I am going to get another dog soon and I am wondering if pet insurance is really worth it? It seems like it might be a scam. Anyone have any good experience with pet insurance?

If you can afford it, go for it sweety..Remember, a dog is a man's and woman's best friend , so if you want to insure your pets health, just do it!! I purchased some pet insurance for my dogs, haven't used it yet, but you never know when Fluffy and Toodles can get hurt...it would just break my heart to see these little guys get hurt...I would give my life for them  

My vote is no on pet insurance. It seems to me that will just drive up costs for the rest of us who don't have pet insurance if everyone goes out and buys pet insurance. The vet office will have to hire more people to bill the insurance companies, that extra cost will be passed on to us.
