Future Travel Plans?
02/25/08 at 16:38:12

Right now, I have no plans to travel outside of the country but who knows in 5-10 years from now, I might take a vacation to Europe...would I still be covered by my life insurance policy if I didn't have travel plans when I got approved?

I would say you would be covered. Insurance companies have a two year contestable period, after that, you're even covered for suicide...

I think the actual location of travel can determine if you will be rated lower or even declined for insurance. There are some places that insurance companies consider to be "dangerous" and will rate you accordingly. You just have to honest up front and you'll be covered in case you do travel. Most companies will be concerned with foreign travel if you already have tickets to go. If you don't have any concrete plans, then you should be fine.
