Better Health Insurance with the new President??

What do you think the chances are of our next president improving the health care system? I have to have a surgery sometime in the next year or so and I am considering putting it off to see if our next president can improve our health care situation. The surgery is going to be very expensive for me in my current situation, but if the new president can improve health insurance I think it may be worth it to wait. Do you think I should wait or just go into debt and get the surgery now? It is not life threatening or anything, just something I need to get done fairly soon.

The longer you wait to get medical attention the worse off you will be. Presidents make promises all the time, but who knows if any changes will actually be made, and who knows how long it will take. Also, you can never tell who will win the election.
