AIG Auto Insurance has released its AIG Teen GPS Program. The program is designed for policyholders with teen drivers. The program will initially run under a pilot mode in a handful of states.
Through GPS technology, parents of teen drivers can monitor the teen's vehicle location, speed and distance from a specific location such as school, home, etc. The information is accessible through the Internet or by telephone. Parents can also register to receive an email or text message including specific monitoring information.
AIG is also the parent company of American General Life Insurance Company, one of QuickQuote's term life insurance partner companies.
