Insurance.com recently released it's '2007 Auto Insurance Pricing Report', which shows auto insurance premiums dropped 5.2 percent from 2006 to 2007. The average annual premium decreased from $1,965 to $1,868 during that time period. The 2007 average premium is the lowest average premium for auto insurance in three years, according to the company.
The top three states in terms of greatest decline were North Carolina (24.5%), Arizona (14.5%) and North Dakota (13.3%).
