MetLife to Stop Selling Long Term Care Insurance
Snoopy is no longer interested in long term care insurance. MetLife Inc. has announced it will stop selling long term care insurance policies to new customers at the end of this year. The company cited rising costs for health care services, low interest rates on investment portfolios and policy holders living longer as reasons for the decision.

Life Insurance Gender Gap
A recent MetLife study has identified a gender gap in life insurance coverage. The report states married men with minor children have 5x their annual household income in life insurance coverage compared with only 3x for married women with minor children.
