Once your application is approved, coverage will begin on 12:01 a.m. the day after your requested effective date. For example, if you request an effective date of January 1, coverage will begin at 12:01 a.m. on January 2. Continuing with this example, if you need coverage on January 1, please select the day prior (December 31) as your effective date.
