West Coast Life Insurance Company announced a rate reduction on its term life insurance portfolio, effective July 24, 2006.
In addition to the rate reduction, the Focus Term Series now has increased conversion periods on the 10, 15 and 20-year policies as well as reduced annual policy fees on coverage amounts of $249,999 or less.
The new rates will be made available on all policies issued on July 1, 2006, and later.
This new rating structure, combined with the previously announced underwriting enhancements, should allow West Coast’s term life portfolio to remain highly competitive in the term life insurance marketplace.
