Can I cash out my Gerber Life insurance policy?

Maybe you’re not interested in canceling your Gerber Life policy and you just need to know how to cash out Gerber life insurance.

The cash value feature is a benefit of whole life insurance. This type of insurance is permanent and builds cash value over time.

About Gerber Life

Gerber Life offers insurance policies for both children and adults. A.M. Best has given Gerber Life an A (excellent) rating for financial stability.

Two different types of insurance are offered for adults: term life insurance and whole life insurance. Term life insurance is coverage for a designated period of time (such as 10 or 20 years). Benefits are paid only if something happens to the insured within that term.

Gerber Life’s term life insurance policies are both renewable and convertible. This means that if you want to renew your policy after your term ends, you are able to. If you want to convert your term life insurance policy into a whole life insurance policy, you can do that too.

Whole life insurance provides death benefits for as long as you live. The most common type is an ordinary whole life insurance policy. While whole life rates can be more expensive than term life rates, they never go up.

Gerber Life’s whole insurance policy also develops cash value, known as “non-forfeiture benefits.” This is another way of saying the benefits never expire.

Gerber Life offers two different types of child life insurance policies. You can choose between the Gerber Life Grow-Up Plan or Gerber Life Young Adult.

With both plans, when the insured turns 18, the coverage amount automatically doubles. This happens at no extra cost. The Gerber Life Grow-Up plan builds cash value with each monthly payment. You are able to borrow against it to help with any unexpected costs or expenses.

Gerber Life Young Adult also has consistent rates for the life of the policy, and a cash benefit accumulates.

The Grow-Up plan allows you to have guaranteed coverage for life. When the insured becomes an adult, they will have the right to buy more coverage at the standard adult rate, regardless of their health or occupation, as long as premiums are paid.

Gerber Life gives their customers access to Gerber Life eService. You can enroll in eService to make payments and receive an eBill instead of a paper bill.

If tech isn’t your thing, you can make payments using the Gerber Life insurance payment phone number: (866) 503-4487.
