An increase in muscle that’s not even visible can be all it takes to improve your ability to do small tasks. Other great options include using exercise as a chance to spend time with friends and family, playing a sport or game and striving to achieve new personal bests. Find something you love that can keep you active.

Exercise causes the release of chemicals called endorphins into your bloodstream, making you feel relaxed and happy. Studies have shown that regular physical activity might encourage better shut-eye. People who meet national exercise guidelines sleep better and have less daytime fatigue than those who don’t train regularly. Some researchers think physical activity improves sleep by helping reduce levels of stress, anxiety, and depression. Others have suggested an energy conservation hypothesis, essentially saying that when you burn more calories through exercise, your body more efficiently uses the sleep period to recover. Either way, more exercise means more rest.
When you choose to exercise, you’re making an investment, not just in your present physical appearance, but in the rest of your life. People who regularly exercise live longer and stay healthier into old age. If not for yourself, consider the family members that love and depend on you. Exercise and outlive your term life insurance policy.
