Ahh, spring has finally sprung. Or has it? While the calendar shows we are five days into spring, the weather forecasts across much of the nation tell a different story. The snow continues to fall rather than melt. The cold winds continue to blow rather than give way to blue skies and budding plants. What happened to March ‘coming in like a lion and going out like a lamb?’ It appears the over-hyped groundhog got it wrong again this year.
Spring brings with it so many wonderful things to look forward to, like spring break, spring training, and spring cleaning. Spring is a time of new beginnings, of starting anew. And who doesn’t like a clean, fresh start?
Spring is also a very good time to review your term life insurance policy or contemplate getting coverage if you are in need. The busy summer months go by so quickly, before giving way to the back-to-school craziness of fall. Then before you know it, the holidays are upon us.
Take the time now to ‘start anew’ with a quick review of your term life insurance policy. You’ll find that many life insurance companies have decreased rates since the beginning of the year. Reviewing your policy is an important part of your annual financial plan checklist. Take care of this now, and you’ll be free to start working on your summer beach body!
Let us know in the comments how often you review your term life insurance policy. Also, what are your plans for this spring?
